Matias Carow

High school junior building the skills, network, and mindset of a successful entrepreneur.

Overview

Right now

I'm taking the skills I learned at Babson, and the ones I'm learning now in my Incubator entrepreneurship class, to build a successful venture.

About

I am a student at Barrington High School who has always had an interest in entrepreneurship. Since a young age I have been deeply interested in the aspects of creating and running a business. With this interest, I have tried learning as much as I can from school and the internet, and have a basic grasp of the economic principles that make up entrepreneurship. I have also applied what I have learned in my extracurriculars, using my basic knowledge of economics during Model United Nations. I hope to expand my knowledge and my set of skills so I can succeed in an entrepreneurially focused world.

Cabin Leader

YMCA Camp Edwards

Treasurer

Model United Nations, Barrington High School

Selected by the chapter presidents in May, I began my term as Treasurer of Barrington High School's Model United Nations, a 150-member chapter. I manage the chapter's budget, oversee funding for conference registration and travel, and coordinate fundraising to keep participation accessible across the membership.

  • Designed and built an AI research agent for the chapter, applying skills I developed at Babson to give new delegates a faster path to position papers and background research
